Secret santa fanart and new character portraits for KA RPF.
The map depicts a fantastical country called Oakfall, a religious-throwback (compared to its neighbors) monarchy with quite shifty priest race, twin heirs to the throne and vassals with crumbly-loyalty.
This is the second map project I attempted, the first one had scaling issues and was abandoned (it was a case when a Jakarta-grown mall-kid failed to comprehend dark ages demographic sparsity). This one also took awhile to finish, mostly because it was forgotten out of negligence and/or frustration. Cartography is harder + requires more work than I initially (naively) expected, but still very interesting and I learned a lot.
Here’s hoping the next map will be better and finished faster!

From Janus, with two faces. Traditionally symbolizes (both/ the passage of?) past and the future, of passings, changes and transitions.
This is a fanart of Rinne, a character from Katsushika Akademia. Made fairly quickly; around 4 hours from start to finish (and most of it while being very very sleepy), inspired by Maroon 5’s Payphone.
Karin, in his 2nd year of Highschool. Off with the fluffy bangs and on with the extra doucheyness.

Monarch of Duality : The Two Faces
I started with the concept of a monarch (or, a monarchy) that has two functional ‘faces’. A front one, which is public, adored-loathed, and gleams under the limelight; then a back one, which is hidden, unseen and silently moving forces.
Steps for Pet.
The technique is similar to Waterlily; with endless monochrome underpainting-drawing. Most of the work was done in the underpainting stage and the color(ing) step was minimal.
